Thematic Bible and Gospel Paintings

Over my time in Thailand I have painted art in public that reflects more of an Asian style of pattern. I based some of these paintings on certain books of the Bible. Other paintings are bridges to God working in our world. Other paintings are my personal statement about how God has overcome the karmic system of Buddhism.

The Life of Christ based on The Gospel of John

Romans, based on the book of Romans in the Bible.

Karma overcome by The Way The Truth and The Life. This is my version of the circle of life image taken from Buddhism. I have taken the liberty to change the meaning of each picture and each idea that is represented in the original ideas. It is based in the idea that we are not in the system of karma and re-birth, but we have one chance to live and know our creator God through Christ. It depicts heaven as an eternal place not a just nothing, or state that is not a state. It is showing how God has given a way out from under sin or bad karma. They are different, but have things in common. I have replaced the Buddhist heaven and hell with a biblical one and earth realms with my depiction of spiritual warfare.

Overcoming the 8 fold path with Jesus. This painting I developed into a tract that one unfolds. It is how Jesus has overcome self and law, even the Buddhist law to give the human race opportunity to be reconciled to God by His power and grace.

God Entering Into The Buddhist System

This is a painting I did to use a way to explain how God has entered into the karmic system to free people from it and bring to God through Jesus Christ.
